Activities
A fundamental policy of Saint Georges School is the excessive participation in the extra-curricular activities which are considered an important aspect of a student's overall development. Some of these are:

1) The Anglophone Day; which reveals openness to and appreciation of the cultures related to the target language.

2) The Francophone Day; which reflects the French civilization.

3) The Historical Plays and Musicals; performed by the students in one of the three languages Arabic, English or French such as Petra, Sound of Music, Shakespearean Plays.

4) Arabic Poetry Night (or Souk Okaz); an activity that revives the old Arabian night and reflects on the Arab civilization.

5) The Folklore Dance at AUB; representing the folklore of different countries.

6) The Annual Film Festival; An activity which is organized by the school and which absorbs more than thirty participant schools from Lebanon and other countries. The festival is embodied in a contest for Secondary students who are to produce a fifteen- minute movie about a specific topic. (Generation Gap, Human Rights, Deviation of Youths…) The films are then evaluated by a committee of experts according to certain criteria. The results of the content are usually announced during a festival at UNESCO Palace.

7) Clubs and Societies; Clubs and Societies meet after school and they include computer, school choir, music, drama, drawing, fashion, football, volleyball, basketball, and environment club.

8) School Publication; The school magazine, ECHO SAINT GEORGES which is written in three languages (English, French and Arabic) and includes all school events, students' activities and publications.

9) Excursions and Educational trips; the school organizes many recreational outings and two educational trips per year for Grades 1 to 8, and one outing per month for Kindergarten students. These trips are organized on the basis of the integration of subjects. So in one trip a student can benefit in geography, history, science, social studies and others.
